ISD Gets A K.O. With Affliction: Banned
Affliction Entertainment, in partnership with Donald Trump among others, stepped into the Mixed Martial Arts scene with the company's edge and rock influenced style.Affliction: Banned, the company?s inaugural fight in Anaheim, CA., needed to reflect the brand it was named for: Intense, trendy, hardcore.
Innovative Show Design was brought onboard to design and produce the scenic, lighting, and graphics for the in-house experience.
By using advanced previsualization techniques, the ISD team was able to present a true to life design. This design demonstrated custom color pallets and graphics; and was finally brought to life in front of a sold out house of 14000 fans; and on television sets around the world.
A rig full of Martin Lighting instruments was used to throw an intense spectrum of lights through the stadium, and bring the fights to life. A wall of Element Labs
VERSATubes was used to display custom media for each fighter?s entrance, as well as to build a backdrop for the performance of rock legends Megadeth.Affliction: Banned opened the doors of MMA for ISD. The event was a success, and a sick experience for all of us. We look forward to our future with Affliction.
The next event; Affliction: Day Of Reckoning will take place in Las Vegas on October 11, and ISD is excited to be along for the ride.
